(NYSE: GTT), the leading cloud networking provider to multinational clients, announced today that the company will deliver high-speed internet services to members of The Quilt, a national coalition of nonprofit regional research and education networks representing 40 networks and more than 900 educational institutions in the U.S.

GTT will provide nearly 50Gbps of internet capacity to the Quilt members, which is expected to increase to 100Gbps by the end of 2018. GTT delivers internet services over its Tier 1 global IP backbone, ranked among the largest in the world.
